Rocky brings over 20 years in Tax and Accounting experience to Thielen & Associates, Inc. He has held past senior positions at the “Big Four” accounting firms in the U.S. specializing in taxation and planning for high-net-worth individuals, including venture capitalists and top executives from some of Silicon Valley’s largest technology corporations. He also has over 15 years of specializing in Private Wealth Management and has held past positions of Vice President at major Wealth Management firms where he consistently received industry awards and accolades. He also has international experience managing investment analysts and tax experts for high-net-worth family offices and managing the investment portfolio focusing on stocks, hedge funds and startup investments.
Rocky is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California and specializes in Taxation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Taxation, both from the University of Texas at Austin. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities and advisory licenses.
He supports the non-profit organizations Amitabha Buddhist Society of USA and Japan Society of Northern California. In his spare time, he enjoys music, travel, culinary art and meditation.
